Cookie & Storage Policy
Last updated: October 27, 2026This page explains what DupeGo saves in your browser.
1. Browser storage we use
DupeGo stores data only in your browser localStorage, strictly necessary to run the web app: dupego:token (login session), dupego:game (selected game), dupego:sfx-muted (sound preference), dupego:pending-inventory (album changes not yet synced) and dupego:install-dismissed (install banner closed). The language choice is kept in the NEXT_LOCALE cookie for one year.
2. No profiling cookies
DupeGo sets no first-party profiling or tracking cookies and uses no analytics that identify you. dupego:game, dupego:sfx-muted and dupego:install-dismissed are purely local preferences and never leave your device. dupego:token (login session) is sent to our API to authenticate you, and dupego:pending-inventory is a temporary local cache of the album changes you make offline: it is sent to the DupeGo servers as soon as the connection is back, then removed from your browser.
3. Advertising consent
Advertising in the mobile app is provided by Google AdMob. Consent is collected at first launch through the Google UMP form and you can review or change it at any time from the "Ad Privacy Preferences" item in the Profile section of the app, or from your device system settings (reset the advertising ID). You can clear the browser storage from your browser settings.
